The 24 areas of the lake each have a Lake Ambassador (formerly Area Counsellor) who acts as a connector between residents in their Area and the Board of the OLA. The Ambassadors share information provided by the OLA with lake residents and take input from lake residents back to the lake association Board of Directors.

We have several areas that need a Lake Ambassador. We are particularly in need of volunteers in the areas of: Otty Lake South West Shore Road, Sunset Ridge, McKay Farm Road, Bishops Way, Sunset Drive, Maple Glen, and McLaren Point.  It’s a great way to meet your neighbours! You could even do this as a husband and wife team.
